Botleys Mansion, Surrey Wedding Video

Lauren+Matt’s Botleys Mansion Wedding Video

We love Bijou venues. They’re tailored for weddings, so every corner of them is beautiful. Botleys Mansion is flooded with natural light and has gorgeous grounds around the front of the house. The whole place is beautifully photogenic, which makes Botleys Mansion wedding videos a joy to film.

Wedding Photography by Especially Amy

This was my first time working with Especially Amy and we had a great day together. Thank you to Guy Hearn for connecting us! Knowing that Amy was a friend of Guy, it didn’t surprise me at all that her work was incredible and that she would be a lot of fun to work with.

Bridal Preps at Foxhill Manor

Lauren and her bridesmaids got ready in one of the deluxe suites at Foxhills, Surrey. Her hair had apparently been planned for year, by her very talented friend Gustav Fouche and Make up was by Quelle. Her Enzoani
dress was finished with Jimmy Choo shoes and the bridesmaids looked amazing in their D.B.L dresses!

Funny & Heartfelt Groom’s Speech!

Matt got the balance just right between funny and emotional. His speech was so sweet, but didn’t lose the room due to over-soppiness (that’s a recognised term right?). He had a third of the room laughing, a third of the room in tears, and a third of the room doing both. I counted.

All in all, a beautiful wedding, ending in style with evening drinks, with the dancing flames of the outdoor fire lanterns (again – a recognised term??) and the calming sound of the fountain. Oh and Lauren’s second hairstyle. Gustav – you hero.

Algarve Wedding Video by Destination Wedding Videographers Kissing Gate Films

Kat + Nathan’s Algarve Wedding Video, Portugal

I’ve still not ventured to the Algarve, Portugal. Yet Ben somehow managed to get a handful of jobs there last year. A few times filming for Thomas Royall and then for the stunning wedding of Kat + Nathan. He’d come home from each job, showing me the footage of how amazing it all looked, expecting me to be happy…

Which I was (I suppose) because it did all look amazing…
Kat + Nathan’s beach wedding was beautiful. Not completely unaided by the fact that the couple looked pretty good too! Kat looked amazing in her wedding dress by Ellie Sanderson. With wedding planning from the brilliant Rebecca Woodall. Kat and Nathan had their ceremony at Lady of the Rock Senhora da Rocha, followed by a reception at Tivoli Hotel Marina.

Embrace the rain with the top down!

This Hedsor House wedding video had a twist. When I met with Louisa + James before their wedding day, they expressed their concerns about the weather forecast. The plan was for Louisa to drive to the church in their convertible wedding car. To be more specific, their baby blue MG MGA classic convertible, with the top down – of course. But the forecast was set to rain. It couldn’t be done if it rained.

Fast forward to the wedding day, the heavens opened and the rain didn’t look like it was going to let up anytime soon. Louisa’s dad entered the bridal suite at Hedsor House with a big smile on his face. “Of course we’ll do it!! We’re British!!”.
I’ll never forget Guy Hearn’s expression as Louisa pulled up at St Nicholas Church, Hedsor, with the top down, wrapped up in warm coats and furs, clutching an umbrella and laughing her head off. Guy’s photos were brilliant, and all of a sudden, a miserable grey sky was the best thing that could’ve happened – everyone was smiling and everyone was happy. Lesson? EMBRACE THE RAIN!

My favourite bridal depature to date! – Enjoy!! xx

Laura + Pete’s Wedding Preps | South Spain Wedding Photographer

Laura’s colour theme of pastel blues looked stunning against the blues of the sky and the ocean. The bridal party dressing gowns were a great touch and made the morning photos look beautiful! Laura’s Faith Bridal Shoes looked better by the pool and under the tree than they did on the sleeping dog… But probably looked best of all on the bride herself. Laura and her bridesmaids got ready at their beautiful modern villa which was right in the centre of Nerja, making it perfect for a short bridal party stroll to El Salvador Church! This wedding was a real treat to photograph. The rest of the day can be seen here!
