Chateau La Durantie Wedding Video

Demi and Alex’s enquiry for their Chateau La Durantie, South France Wedding video was made more enticing by the fact that their wedding photographer was our good friend Jay Rowden. We first met Jay Rowden in summer 2012 (I first typed out a few years back… that’s 6 years ago.. blimey…) back when we coincidentally had 2 weddings booked with him! Including Francesca and Matt’s at Claridges. We have since worked with him at many more weddings (those ones not so coincidentally!) and we always love working with him.

Demi and Alex’s wedding was really lovely. An outdoor ceremony had the Chateau as the backdrop and although rain followed, the day was beautiful.

Stoke Park Wedding Video

Stoke Park is a great venue. Not only because it is a 10 minute drive from our house – although that does of course help. But because it’s grand, it’s famous, it’s extravagant and it’s only 10 minutes from our house. So clearly – we love a booking for a Stoke Park Wedding Video.

Seen in films such as Layer Cake, Bridget Jones’ Diary, RocknRolla, Tomorrow Never Dies, Goldfinger etc. etc. Stoke Park comes with well earned prestige. And it’s obvious as soon as you approach the venue that you’re somewhere special.

Sofia + Darren

Ben met Sofia in very manly circumstances – when he headed to the Salon where she worked for a haircut. They got on and had cemented themselves in a bond of – you be my hairdresser – and I’ll be your wedding videographer. Textbook friendship.

Hamilton Island Wedding Video, Whitsundays

In May 2015 I was lucky enough to travel out to Australia to film a Hamilton Island wedding video, in the stunning Whitsunday Islands. Having never been to Australia, it’s safe to say I was excited.
I had been warned to expect paradise, what I had not been prepared for was how cool Hamilton Island was going to be. Everyone travels by golf buggy on the island, which in itself is enough, but then you get Catseye beach, which is just beautiful; Kookaburras and Wallabies just chilling in the jungle; one tree hill with the most amazing views over the other Whitsunday Islands; a neighbouring Island which is solely for having lunch or playing golf; snorkelling on the great barrier reef; trips over to Whitehaven beach…. the list is endless. If we didn’t have three boys at home to get back to, I don’t think anyone could’ve prised me away.


Jess + Mark, Hamilton Island Wedding Video, Whitsundays, Australia

So… back to the reason I was on this paradisal island – Jess and Mark’s wedding. It was so much fun, so beautiful and so moving. It was just a pleasure to be part of it. The reception was in the Hamilton Island Chapel – All Saints Chapel, which looks out over the bay. Jess pulled up to the chapel on a golf buggy – try Hamilton Island style. The ceremony was beautiful, but even an intimate ceremony in a picturesque chapel, on top of a hill overlooking the Whitsundays Islands… wasn’t a patch on what was to come.

The wedding reception was on a boat. with a nice big open deck. Cruising around the Whitsundays. At sunset. Ranking it firmly up there with the most amazing weddings we’ve ever seen.

A wedding + a Birthday

Jess turned 30 two days after the wedding, so as a surprise, I turned around this mini trailer for her. Every time I watch it, it makes me want to be back on that wedding boat doing shots of Cointreau with the wedding party.

Melbourne Wedding Video

Ben flew out to Australia to film Oli and Julia’s Melbourne Wedding Video. He knows Oli from his rapping days. Ben retired from rapping, for a hardcore life of… bouquets and dresses… but Oli’s still going and killing it as Fraksha.
What else to say? I’m told it was an amazing wedding! Congratulations Julia + Oli 🙂

London Wedding Video + London Wedding Photos all Wrapped up in a Tudor Barn Wedding

Kim and Kofi, from K&K Labs, were so sweet when they got in touch to ask us about filming their London Wedding Video. It means a lot when we can tell a couple genuinely love our work and it makes us so eager to film their wedding.

Rain Shmain

The heavens opened and everyone was rushed indoors. Did anyone whinge? Complain? Moan? No. Did everyone instead hit the bar and crack on having a great time? Yes. A test for any wedding party, and Kim and Kofi’s passed with flying colours. And it dried up and we headed out into the fresh smelling gardens at Tudor Barn.  and not a single person whinges or complains. They just hit the bar and crack on with the day. That’s the sign of a great wedding party!

We had never been to this venue before filming Kim + Kofi’s London wedding video. We didn’t know what to expect as it is bang smack in the middle of a busy area of London. When we arrived we were amazed! The barn is beautiful – and a Steakhouse too – which you really can’t go wrong with. But the barn wasn’t even the most impressive part. This venue really is a hidden away little gem, and the most beautiful part of it are the gardens. They’re huge, with little hidden bridges and secret gardens and a river running round the barn. A really lovely venue and well worth having a look if searching for somewhere special in this area.
