A Ceremony at Claridge’s
Brittany and Mark held their wedding ceremony at the 5* luxury hotel Claridge’s, in Mayfair. They packed out the ceremony room with trees and flowers, until it looked like some beautiful scene from Midsummer Night’s Dream… or something along those lines… Before the ceremony had even begun, we knew this may well have been shaping up to be the best London wedding video we’d ever done.
From Claridge’s to Whitehall: the Stunning Banqueting House
As if a ceremony in Claridge’s isn’t enough to make a wedding spectacular, the party were then whisked away on a couple of double decker London buses to be shown around the city (most of the bridal party being American – this was a very lovely touch), eventually arriving at the Banqueting House. A venue whose name does not do its magnificence justice. It’s breathtaking. I’d never heard of it and the second I stepped into the room I couldn’t believe that a place so amazing can ever go unheard of!!
Wedding Photographer: The Great Mike Garrard
Working alongside the super lovely, highly awarded – and deservedly so – Mike Garrard is always a pleasure. I feel like I keep spilling the same adjectives everytime I speak about a photographer we love, but then I guess we’re just lucky to meet so many wonderful ones… anyhoo, here we go again, he’s funny, talented, generous, lovely… so much so that we’ll forgive him for mistaking my lovely clean thinktank bag, for his bird-poo-covered one 😉 I was also lucky enough to have the wonderful Pete James working with me.
Don’t Forget the Horses…
Oh and the couple left at the end of the night on a horse pulled carriage. Just like a faaaiirrrytale.
Such a good wedding, and, really, a genuine pleasure to be a part of it.
